Weddings Tired of predictable hotel venues for weddings? The Old Power House at the National Mining Museum Scotland is a unique and special place for a wedding. With its high Victorian arched windows, exposed original brickwork and complete accessibility, it’s the perfect place to celebrate your perfect day. Our catering team have had many years experience in realising the dream for couples, and we can help you find the perfect piper, the most dangerous disco or the biggest balloons. All our staffing costs are included, and we understand why no two weddings are ever the same.
With a space that measures 24m x 8m, there’s comfortably enough room for up to 120, with a bar, coffee shop and the services of our experienced catering team who can cater for everything from a sausage roll to a sumptuous wedding breakfast. We also offer generous free parking for all your guests.
