Young People’s Guarantee

National Mining Museum Scotland is proud to commit to the Young Person’s Guarantee and join employers across Scotland in creating opportunities for young people.

The Young Person’s Guarantee is a joint commitment to provide opportunities for all 16-24 year olds in Scotland through jobs, apprenticeships, further and higher education, training programmes and volunteering.

National Mining Museum Scotland provides opportunities for young people through our education programme, school work experience placements, volunteering opportunities and career/employment opportunities across the organisation.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our Curatorial and Facilities departments so please get in touch for more information!
